I've tried DHL and EMS to Germany. For comparison, DHL is faster than EMS ( it takes 4 days for DHL, while 7 days for EMS) However, the rate for DHL is a little higher that EMS. I've been very pleased with DHL Express. It is cheaper than EMS to Germany (since Mandarake has a special deal with them) and faster.

If you're ordering from Nakano they have lower DHL rates than the other stores. DHL is also faster than EMS. 1
