Because something in the Civ 6 Laucher for that last year or more does NOT work right with How Windows (10 at least, I do not know about 7 or 8) wants to do things, on many of our computers at home. It is probably a problem with how Window wants to keep its and our files safe, and conflicts with something that Launcher is trying to do.
