I found a solution to this. I still cannot start the game from the Epic Games Launcher but if you navigate to C:\Program Files\Epic Games\SidMeiersCivilizationVI\Base\Binaries\Win64EOS or equivalent and launch the game from there it seems to work fine. 2. level 1. missmri2021.

It does not matter how tech savvy you are or are not . You pay Good money to play a game not find work arounds because someone did not do their job and actually fully test or beta test this new launcher before they threw it at us with no option to pass it up.

May 23, 2020 · I'm on Rise & Fall only, did not purchase new DLC or pass. Was having issues with the 2K launcher just not working (it would open from Steam, I would click the button and the window would close and Steam would just revert back to the "Play" button as if nothing happened. So it seems the issue with the new 2K launcher that they've forced on us.

5.8.2021 · Here’s how to do it on the Epic Games client: Open your Epic Games client and go to Library. Click the ellipses at the bottom right corner of Sid Meier’s Civilization VI. Then select Verify and wait for the process to complete. Now you can try again and see if Civ 6 launches. If this doesn’t help, you can take a look at the next fix below.
