I graduated from General Assembly’s UX design immersive a couple of years ago. Given your experience, I don’t have any doubt that you’d be able to transition into UX upon completing a similar bootcamp. The salary you’d be able to lock down in the Bay Area in a UI Designer role should easily offset the up-front cost of the bootcamp.
