Jul 7, 2015 · I always recommend subfolders under the inbox. The main reason is to keep the look and feel consistent. When you add subfolders at the top level, you end up with a messy looking view. I don't even consider search speeds. My only concern for searching is that it works properly. Some searches are fast, some are slow, depending.
