It is a reasonable software that reminds me AutoCAD 14. Start there. Last year, I scored CorelCad 2019 on humble bundle. This is practically the same engine as Draftsight used to be.

NanoCAD and or SolidEdge 2D both are free. For low cost AutoCAD clones look at DraftSight, CMS IntelliCAD and maybe BricsCAD.

Draftsight and Progecad aren't free but the best affordable alternatives. There are some opensource alternatives but they all seem to lack features for complete compatibility to Autocad 2d. Maybe some others I've overlooked but I eventually went with AutocadLT as it has most of what I need but still use Autocad 2007 when I need LISP.
