Mar 06, 2022 · F1 2021 runs exclusively in DirectX 12, which limits VorpX to its Z-Normal rendering mode. This isn't a true stereoscopic mode, so it has to fake the 3D effect a bit. As a result, there are noticeable visual distortions around certain objects. The worst, by far, is around the halo column or antennas at the front of the car in cockpit view.

Jul 15, 2021 · Hopefully they update vorpX to support F1 2021 dx12. I also want soon the update for f1 2021. I got it to work by using the RDR2 profile! It works with the RDR2 or Cyberpunk profiles, but the performance is pretty terrible and the behavior is very glitchy in general. I wouldn’t recommend it right now.

Jan 01, 2022 · Unfortunately F1 2021 is DX12 only, hence there is only depth buffer 3D (Z3D), that’s what causes the antenna glitch. I’d suggest to switch to the above-helmet-camera for driving.
