There's no cable like the official cable. It's an active optical 16ft cable. Every other 3rd-party cable that's lower-priced isn't optical (so they're slightly heavier) and if it's active, usually has a large box/blob in the middle of the cable (official cable does the active signal at the connector ends).
This. 80$ for a 16 foot active optical cable like the official link cable is a good price. In fact you won’t find even a generic 16 foot active optical cable for less. What’s happening is the link cable has a d to d converter on each end that converts the digital impulses to light and back, this is why there is no signal loss at length.

Since I'm not sure how much you know, and you seem to be a new user, I'll just write everything. Quest 2 comes with a charger and USB2 cable. You can use this cable to do things like SideQuest, ADB commands and copy files to/from your PC. But it is too slow and short to play PCVR via Link. The Quest 2 can play standalone games without needing a PC.
However, if there isn't much difference between that and third party cables, which would be the best for the price? Will the included usb c charging cable for the quest 2 work as a link cable? If not, do some of the 16ft usb A to usb C cables on amazon (ones that worked for the Oculus Quest 1) work for the Oculus Quest 2? Thank you!
