Free driver updater. Driver updaters are basically a placebo and not worth the time. It's pretty easy to find drivers for what you need, or just let your OS get them automatically. Except when the manufacturer's website doesn't have the drivers you are looking for. Or when the Manufacturer goes bankrupt and they no longer have a website.

I use aida64 or just open the case and read the labels to see the name of the hardware. Then I look for the support / drivers section on the manufacturer's website. The driver updater scam developed during the XP days, when a lot of illiterate people had computers, there were even "paid drivers" back then.

I've had botched sata drivers, wifi drivers myself recently. The other day someone was having CPU performance issues, turned out to be the generic chipset drivers. If you're spending the time/funds to buy "enthusiast" grade hardware and spending as much time as most of us do on our PC, might as well dots all the i's and cross all the t's ;-).

Driver update software is obsolet IMO and can contain malware or scareware.
